Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy is seeking an Order Management Technician to join a closed-door long-term care pharmacy that serves nursing home patients and their caregivers. You will enter orders accurately, manage fax/phone communications, and ensure excellent patient service in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a Pharmacy Technician license, strong computer and telephone skills, and a commitment to compassionate health care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in appropriate state.
• Strong computer skills.
• Outstanding telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders.
• Handle incoming fax and telephone communication.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care.
• Properly handle order exceptions such as refill too soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively to leadership and to peers.
