Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy, a closed-door long-term care pharmacy, is seeking a detail-oriented Order Management Technician to join our team. You’ll enter new or refill orders accurately, handle calls and faxes, and deliver outstanding patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, an active Pharmacy Technician license, strong computer skills, and excellent telephone communication.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in appropriate state.
• Strong computer skills.
• Outstanding telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter new or refill orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle incoming fax and telephone communication.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care.
• Properly handle order exceptions such as refills too soon or invalid orders.
• Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively to leadership and peers.

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of Nursing Home patients and their caregivers. This unique and challenging sub-set of the Pharmacy practice requires a goal oriented, productive, and hard-working technician that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As the Order Management Technician your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders
• Handle incoming fax and telephone communication
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care
• Properly handle order exceptions such as refill to soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently
• Communicate effectively to leadership and to peers
