Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy is hiring an Order Management Technician to support nursing home patients in a fast-paced environment. You will accurately enter new or refilled orders, manage fax and phone communications, and deliver outstanding patient care.

This role requires a current Pharmacy Technician license, strong computer and telephone skills, and a commitment to teamwork in a closed-door long-term care setting. Training and career advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Current Pharmacy Technician license in appropriate state.
• Strong computer skills.
• Outstanding telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter new or refill orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle incoming fax and telephone communication.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care.
• Handle order exceptions such as refill too soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively to leadership and to peers.
