Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking an Order Management Lead to oversee high-volume warehouse order processing, scheduling, and dock coordination. The role focuses on accurate picking, staging, and auditing to support swift dispatch and on-time performance.

The successful candidate will manage daily dock workflow, investigate discrepancies, and drive process improvements across ERP/MRP environments. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet peak demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of high-volume distribution supervision experience.
• Experience with warehouse picking technologies and scanning solutions.
• Experience in using warehouse control or management software (ERP).
• Proven track record of establishing disciplined work processes and improving them.

Responsibilities

• Queue management: ensure orders printed, batched, and processed overnight and during the day.
• Order prep: coordinate with shipping for picked, labeled, and audited orders.
• Dock coordination: lead daily workflow of dock workers and material handlers.
• Inventory investigation: research and resolve discrepancies (missing pallets, late orders, carrier issues).
• International compliance: stage and fulfill international orders to completion.
• Performance tracking: monitor and report On-Time Delivery, flag delays to management.
• Cross-training: delegate authority when Warehouse Manager is out of the office.
