Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Sandston, VA is seeking an Order Checker to ensure accuracy of Customer Orders before loading for Delivery. You will inspect pallets, review Pick Tickets, and communicate discrepancies to correct issues prior to shipment.

The role supports route truck check-ins, counts, and documentation of variances, with responsibilities that include maintaining safety, organization, and timely order processing in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Up to 12 months of work experience.
• PIT Certification preferred.
• Pallet Jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the accuracy of Customer Orders by inspecting built pallets for correctness and communicates with warehouse teammates to correct mistakes.
• Inspects returning Route Delivery Trucks and performs blind counts to ensure counts match reported quantities.
• Documents discrepancies and changes on the appropriate reports and informs relevant personnel.
• Accounts for all returned Product and Deposit Items on Route Delivery Trucks and classifies items (Out-of-Date, Damaged, Good, Pallets).
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the work area and participates in pallet building as requested.
