Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Lexington, KY is hiring an Order Checker for ensuring accuracy of customer orders leaving the warehouse. You will inspect pallets, verify quantities on pick tickets, and correct discrepancies before loading for delivery.

You will also review returning trucks, perform blind counts, document issues, and assist with pallet building as needed in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Must lift up to 75 lbs and have basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Up to 12 months of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: PIT certification and pallet jack.
• Must be able to read and interpret computer screen instructions.

Responsibilities

• Verify Customer Orders by inspecting pallets and reviewing Pick Tickets for accuracy.
• Inspect returning Route Delivery Trucks and perform Blind Counts.
• Document discrepancies and changes on the proper reports and communicate with the team.
• Account for returned Product and Deposit Items on trucks and classify items (Out-of-Date, Damaged, Good).
• Maintain clean and safe work area and assist with pallet building as needed.
