Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is hiring an Order Checker to verify customer orders before loading for delivery. The role emphasizes accurate pallets, correct product types and quantities, and clear documentation of discrepancies.

You will inspect returning trucks, perform counts, communicate issues to drivers, and ensure proper finalization of the check-in process. A high school diploma or GED and up to 12 months of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Up to 12 months acquired through work experience.
• PIT Certification; Pallet Jack preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the accuracy of Customer Orders by inspecting built pallets to ensure they are adequately built, stabilized, and secure for transportation to the Customer and reviewing Pick Tickets to ensure the Product Type and Quantity are correct.
• Inspects returning Route Deliver Trucks to determine if they are in the proper condition for the Check-In Process and performs Blind Counts of all returning Route Delivery Trucks to compare counts to the reported quantities of the returning Route Delivery Trucks.
• Documents any discrepancies, changes, additions, subtractions, required to a Customer Order, on the proper Reports, and provides information to the appropriate personnel.
• Accounts for all returned Product and Deposit Items on the Route Delivery Trucks and ensures information is classified correctly.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area and warehouse, performs other tasks including pallet building as determined and requested by management.
