Job summary

Global Payments in Jeffersonville, IN, is seeking an Order Fulfillment Technician to join its operations team on a part-time basis. You will execute end-to-end fulfillment, prepare payment technology solutions for delivery, and configure POS devices and peripherals.

You will perform QA testing, maintain inventory records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployments. The role requires technical aptitude with hardware, software, networking basics, and experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in technology deployment, IT support, fulfillment operations, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• It’s a bonus if you have Experience supporting payment technology, merchant services, or retail technology deployments.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, device connectivity, or remote troubleshooting.
• Experience with inventory systems or platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience configuring POS systems, payment terminals, or similar hardware and software environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, stage, and validate POS devices, payment terminals, and peripherals, including imaging systems, installing software, and setting up customer-specific applications.
• Perform quality assurance testing and troubleshooting to ensure all hardware, software, and connectivity components are fully functional prior to shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and ensure compliance with asset tracking and inventory control processes.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, product, implementation, and support teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure successful customer deployments.
