The Role
We're looking for a Fulfillment Supervisor to act as an essential coordinator and motivator for our Fulfillment and Inventory Control teams in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate is a true people person who constantly seeks ways to improve teamwork and communication. In this role, you'll set goals, expectations, and performance standards for our Fulfillment and Inventory Control team in Ocala, helping to elevate our performance. You'll work closely with the Logistics Manager to track inventory and coordinate procedures across dry/trim/cure/pack operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Develop daily order fulfillment schedules to satisfy all sales orders.
- Train and develop Fulfillment employees, providing motivation through personal example and interpersonal skills.
- Establish fulfillment goals, monitor employee performance, and provide regular feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety, operating procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain high team performance through training and development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, promoting safety policies.
- Document performance and communicate with the Logistics Manager.
- Identify high performers for additional responsibilities.
- Oversee Inventory Control and Replenishment processes for accuracy.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage scheduling, tracking, and distribution of raw materials and outbound deliveries.
- Collaborate with Sales to meet objectives and resolve service issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with Supply Chain; manage physical inventory.
- Schedule maintenance for Powered Industrial Trucks and Delivery Vehicles.
- Ensure proper medical cannabis waste management and compliance.
- Assist with waste profiles, manifests, and records.
- Conduct safety training and employee onboarding.
- Coordinate operations with department leads and managers.
- Make personnel recommendations and serve on improvement committees.
- Administer policies fairly and consistently.
- Report operational or personnel issues to the Logistics Manager.
- Maintain compliance with all industry laws and regulations.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, and safety standards, maintaining product quality and safety.
- Perform duties of the Logistics Manager in their absence if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Summary
This position involves working cooperatively with sales to process orders, organizing employees for order pulling and validation, coordinating with transportation, and conducting inventory audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Functions
- Support sales and inventory requirements through daily planning and scheduling.
- Train employees in packaging, quality identification, production rates, and BioTrack functions.
- Provide coaching and feedback to foster a high-performing team.

Must demonstrate organizational and communication skills, adaptability, and leadership to motivate team members and foster a cohesive work environment.
Additional Requirements
- Illinois driver's license or State ID
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Pass background checks and comply with industry regulations
- Approval for an Agent badge from the D.O.A.
Minimum Education and Experience
- 5+ years in a production environment, with 2+ years in supervision preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; BS/BA preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, Lean Manufacturing, and computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work overtime and handle multiple tasks effectively
