Job summary

Dee Zee, Inc is seeking an Order Fulfillment Processor to operate forklifts and related equipment to move and stage orders within the facility.

You will follow SDS guidelines, maintain a clean work area, and verify shipments and inventory accuracy while contributing to a safe, productive team environment.

The role requires teamwork, attention to safety, and the ability to read work orders in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to stop production and/or prevent shipment of nonconforming products.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of material hazards and SDS understanding.
• Ability to band and secure pallets for shipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate a shrink wrap machine and battery hoist.
• Ability to operate scan guns for material movements and inventory transactions.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders accurately according to pick lists.
• Transport and deliver materials to designated locations throughout the facility.

• Verify pallets, crates and boxes are labeled before shipment.
• Follow 6S standards and safety procedures for an efficient workplace.
• Load and unload trailers safely while scanning items for inventory and shipment tracking.
• Maintain a clean work area by sweeping floors and removing debris.
• Operate pallet wrapping equipment and floor scales to prepare shipments.
• Optimize trailer and shipment space to maximize efficiency.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and verify fluid levels and tires.

Position Summary:

The Order Fulfillment Processor operates powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, high lifts, and internal combustion or electric-powered equipment.

• Understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and material hazard requirements when handling products and chemicals.

• Verify that pallets, crates and boxes are accurately labeled and properly identified before shipment.

• Follow 6S standards, company policies, and safety procedures to support an efficient and compliant workplace.

• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently while scanning all items to ensure accurate inventory and shipment tracking.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area by sweeping floors and removing debris.

• Operate pallet wrapping equipment and floor scales to prepare and verify shipments.

• Optimize trailer and shipment space to maximize efficiency and minimize shipping costs.

• Perform daily equipment inspections, complete required inspection checklists, and verify fluid levels, tires and overall equipment condition.
