Job summary

Dee Zee, Inc. is seeking an Order Fulfillment Processor to operate forklifts and related equipment within the facility. You will move materials safely and efficiently, following SDS guidelines and company safety standards.

Responsibilities include accurate order picking, labeling verification, and ensuring proper shipment practices. Daily tasks involve pallet wrapping, scanning goods, and maintaining a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to stop production and/or prevent the shipment of nonconforming or potentially nonconforming products to customers.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of material hazards and the ability to understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Ability to band and secure pallets for shipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate a shrink wrap machine and battery hoist.
• Ability to operate scan guns for material movements, inventory transactions and location verification.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Transport and deliver materials to designated locations throughout the facility in a safe and timely manner.
• Understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and material hazard requirements when handling products and chemicals.
• Verify that pallets, crates and boxes are accurately labeled and properly identified before shipment.
• Follow 6S standards, company policies, and safety procedures to support an efficient and compliant workplace.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently while scanning all items to ensure accurate inventory and shipment tracking.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by sweeping floors and removing debris.
• Operate pallet wrapping equipment and floor scales to prepare and verify shipments.
• Optimize trailer and shipment space to maximize efficiency and minimize shipping costs.
• Perform daily equipment inspections, complete required inspection checklists, and verify fluid levels, tires and overall equipment condition.
