Job summary

ABB in New Berlin, WI, is seeking a Backend Order Execution Specialist for Medium Voltage services. You will coordinate end-to-end order processing with customers, supply chain, production, and project teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate execution.

The role requires SAP experience, cross-functional collaboration, and strong problem-solving skills. You will act as the primary customer contact, manage Salesforce cases, and support data accuracy and process improvements across backend

The role serves as the primary coordinator between customers, supply chain, production, engineering, warehouse operations, and project teams to ensure accurate order processing and on-time delivery.The work model for the role is: hybrid in New Berlin, WI.This role is contributing to the Motion Service Division.You will be mainly accountable for:Manage End-to-End Order ExecutionProcess and maintain sales orders while ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer requirements.Serve as Primary Customer and Sales Unit ContactCoordinate with customers and ABB Front-End Units regarding order status, delivery commitments, lead times, and issue resolution.Coordinate Cross-Functional OperationsWork closely with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of orders.Manage Customer Cases and EscalationsOwn Salesforce case management, resolve customer inquiries, and drive timely resolution of delivery, material, and execution issues.Support Operational ExcellenceMaintain data accuracy and support process improvements, including opportunities to assume ownership of SAP master data, BOL master data, and other backend operational processes.Qualifications for the RoleExperience in order management, customer operations, supply chain, logistics, project coordination, or a related operational roleExperience processing and managing customer orders within an ERP system such as SAPExperience coordinating activities across multiple functions, including customers, sales, supply chain, production, logistics, and project teamsStrong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyEffective written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and TeamsAbility to analyze order, shipment, and customer data to support operational decision-makingExperience managing customer requests, escalations, or case management activitiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), or related SAP modulesExperience using Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management (CRM) systemExperience supporting industrial equipment, electrical products, automation systems, or power equipmentKnowledge of order fulfillment, inventory management, transportation, and logistics processesExperience maintaining SAP master data, product master data, or bill of material (BOM/BOL) dataExperience working with global manufacturing, supply chain, or service organizationsFamiliarity with KPI reporting and operational performance metricsExperience participating in continuous improvement or process standardization initiativesMore about usWe are global market leader in mission-critical high-power, high-performance motors, drives, generators, power conversion and packaged solutions.
