Job summary

Prototek Digital Manufacturing is seeking an Order Entry Specialist to be the primary point of contact for customers and vendors, handling incoming orders, quotes, and ERP entry. You will prepare accurate order details, manage email inquiries, and support cross-functional teams to keep workflows moving.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years manufacturing experience, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PDF tools. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter customer and sales information into our ERP system.
• Monitor incoming customer requests and sales emails.
• Prepare quote packages and route them to the appropriate internal teams.
• Review customer information for completeness and accuracy.
• Follow up on missing order or technical details.
• Maintain organized electronic records for quotes and completed jobs.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure information is properly communicated.
• Provide customer service support through phone and email communications.
• Assist with general office administrative functions.

QUICK SUMMARY
The role of the Customer Support Specialist is to serve as a primary company representative by interfacing with customers, vendors, and other entities doing business or interacting with Sac EDM. The main focus for this role will be in managing the incoming sales email and generating quote / job folders for the various departments, as well as answering the main phone line and addressing or directing calls as required. The Customer Support Specialist will also support with other office related activities as required.
