Prototek Sheetmetal Fabrication, LLC is seeking a Finishing Specialist I to support sheet metal production by ensuring parts are properly finished, marked, assembled, and prepared for delivery.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, versatile, and comfortable working across multiple finishing processes, including plating, painting, powder coating, and hardware installation, to maintain high quality and on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required
• 3+ years finishing experience in manufacturing preferred
• Blueprint reading and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Prototek is hiring a Finishing Specialist I to support sheet metal production by ensuring parts are properly finished, marked, assembled, and prepared for delivery. This role is critical to maintaining part quality and supporting on-time shipments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, versatile, and comfortable working across multiple finishing processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform silkscreen, part marking, and engraving
• Support plating, painting, powder coating, and hardware installation
• Assemble, label, and prepare parts for shipment
• Follow prints and finishing procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

REQUIREMENTS:

• HS Diploma
• 3+ years finishing experience in manufacturing preferred
• Blueprint reading and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
