Order Entry Pharmacy Technician - Day Shift (9am - 6pm)

Join NaphCare, Inc. as an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician.

Position Details:

• Initial 2-week training, working 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
• This role supports a new shift from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including working every other weekend.
• Six technicians will be hired, with alternating schedules to ensure coverage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pharmaceutical processes follow policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, peers, and staff.
• Verify prescription and refill requests for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain medication storage and security.
• Fill prescriptions, label medications, and manage inventory.
• Maintain equipment and work areas, including sterilization.
• Receive, verify, and store supplies, report shortages.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician certification issued by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy with at least 1-year experience; PTCB/NHA certification required.
• Willingness to work in a USP797/800 clean room environment and complete required CEUs.
• Professionalism, objectivity, emotional maturity, integrity, and positive attitude.
• Ability to report critical issues to management.
• Flexibility to perform departmental duties and complete special projects.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours and overtime during peak times.
