Job summary

Steadfast Contractors Alliance is seeking an Order Entry & Estimating Specialist to support landscape construction operations. You will enter project data, help prepare cost estimates, and collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate bids and budgets.

The role requires reading drawings, strong data-entry skills, and proficiency with Excel and estimating software. This is a full-time, on-site position in Tampa with growth opportunities and comprehensive

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating, order entry, or administrative support in construction or landscaping.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
• Experience with estimating or takeoff software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate project and order data in company systems.
• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for landscape construction projects (materials, labor, equipment).
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to support estimating efforts.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability.
• Support project managers with bid submissions and proposal preparation.
• Verify quantities and takeoffs from drawings and site plans.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry amp; Estimating Specialist to support our landscape construction operations. This role is responsible for accurately entering project data, assisting with cost estimates, and coordinating closely with project managers, vendors, and clients. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working with technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate project and order data in company systems
• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for landscape construction projects (materials, labor, equipment)
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to support estimating efforts
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability
• Support project managers with bid submissions and proposal preparation

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range (Tampa, FL): $20 – $28 per hour
