Job summary

Pentair plc in Kansas City, KS is seeking an Order Engineer for a full-time, on-site role. You will work Monday–Friday, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and customers to clarify requirements and prepare technical order documents.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, ability to read CAD drawings, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. Base pay is established with potential annual incentive bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in an engineering-related discipline.
• Ability to read technical schematics and plans, such as CAD drawings and bills of material, to understand component-level operations and functions.
• Self-motivated with advanced problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and mechanical skills.
• Proven ability to communicate professionally with individuals within and outside the organization.
• Solid organizational skills to respond to requests and meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review orders entered into SAP and validate them against customer specifications and purchase orders.
• Complete calculation requirements using templates, coordinate with the Product Engineering team for internal custom-engineered calculations, and prepare data packages for third-party calculations.
• Prepare and communicate technical clarifications related to order documents, vendor technical data, and quality requirements.

Compensation

Annualized base pay range: $61,200 – $113,600 per year. The actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience, education, licensure, certifications, and other relevant factors. The position may also be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus.
