Job summary

JAM Industries in Mississippi is seeking a warehouse associate to handle returns and RMAs, perform inventory put-away, and ensure accurate stock control. You will operate RF-scanned systems and various pallet-jack equipment while supporting parts and receiving duties.

The role requires forklift experience, GED or high school diploma, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a GED or High School Diploma; Associate's degree is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with RF scan-guns.
• 3+ years in returns/RMA-related roles.
• 1+ year forklift experience; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle product returns and Distribute RMAs.
• Perform put-away of merchandise and parts.
• Identify inventory discrepancies in Service Stock.
• Safely operate order picker, reach truck, sit-down counterbalance, or powered pallet jack.
• Receive, transfer, and verify UPC-labeled inventory using an RF scan-gun.
• Assist in parts department support, receiving, and picking.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
• Handling product returns.
• Distributing RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations).
• Performs put away of merchandise and parts.
• Identify inventory discrepancies in Service Stock.
• Safely operate an order picker, reach truck, sit down counterbalance, or powered pallet jack.
• Accurately receive, transfer, and check UPC labeled inventory using an RF scan-gun.
• Assist in parts department support, receiving, and picking.

Education And Qualifications

• Minimum of a GED or High School Diploma, though an Associate's degree would be considered an asset.
• Must have intermediate computer skills and be familiar with RF scan-guns.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, specifically dealing with returns and RMAs.
• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience required; certification preferred.
