Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Flint, MI is seeking an Order Administrator to be the first line of contact for customers. This full-time role entails providing excellent service, resolving questions, and supporting order flow from quote to delivery.

You will coordinate with sales and manufacturing, monitor delays, prepare quotes for standard and custom installations, and keep teams informed on status. Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a focus on accuracy and customer

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor production delays and tickets itemizing impact to production scheduled units.
• Interact with team members to respond to customer and sales inquiries promptly.
• Be the primary contact point for sales to obtain order, materials, and delivery status information.
• Develop quotes for standard and custom truck equipment installations.
• Organize and manage complex quote reviews.
• Report updates for delays and holds on Fleet or Pool units.
• Research and source new equipment and components for quoting.
• Manage chassis holds and releases.
• Provide build options or solutions for delays and production stoppages.
• Administer and report build changes as delays and stoppages occur.
• Coordinate with customers/dealers for information and estimates.
• Coordinate with Management for order review approvals from Fleet work.
• Coordinate with Knapheide Manufacturing for manufacturing change approvals.
