The Weir Group in Newton, MS is seeking an Order Clerk - Paint for an onsite role supporting the paint line and warehouse operations. You will handle data entry, order verification, and daily inventories to keep production running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and strong reading, writing, math, and communication skills. Oracle experience and forklift certification are a plus.

Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.**What you'll do****• Order Processing:** Handle incoming products from the paint line, ensuring correct quantities, part transactions, and customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. **• Inventory Management:** Conduct daily and monthly system-generated inventories, maintain storage areas, and manage supplies within the department to ensure smooth operations. **• Data Entry & Reporting:** Enter data, print and apply labels on products, and write reports to maintain accurate records of all orders and transactions. **• Technical Support:** Install locks on parts and learn to troubleshoot issues with robotic equipment to support production continuity. **• Physical Requirements:** Walk and stand approximately 75% of the day, sit at a computer 25% of the day, frequently climb stairs, bend, reach, and occasionally lift items up to 75 pounds. **• Shipping & Receiving:** Safely transport and organize castings within the warehouse using a forklift, prepare shipments, verify quantities, and generate packing slips and shipping labels to ensure accuracy. **• Safety First:** Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture. **What you'll bring****Must-haves:**• High school diploma or GED • Good reading, writing, mathematical, and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory management **Nice-to-haves**:• Experience with Oracle or similar inventory management systems • Forklift operation skills or certification • Basic troubleshooting skills for robotic or automated equipment • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment**Why join Weir?**We live our values: we think safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, aim high, and delight our customers.
