Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast is hiring an Order Builder in Rochester, NY to prepare customer orders for delivery in a fast-paced team environment. You will build, stage, and restock orders, using pallet jacks or hand-trucks and ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, about 6 months of general work experience, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand/walk for long periods, and work Mon-Fri with a flexible schedule. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general work experience required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred.
• Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach.
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Build and stage orders based on pick tickets for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Restock and repack to ensure date code accuracy and proper rotation.
• Move product and materials using pallet jacks or hand-trucks.
• Adhere to product age, quality, and safety procedures.
• Meet productivity requirements.
• Support efficient warehouse operations through additional tasks.

Job Description

The Order Builder is responsible for preparing customer orders for delivery. In this role, the Order Builder will work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team of dedicated individuals to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately building and staging orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks
• Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
• Use appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locations
• Adhere procedures relating to product age, quality, and safety
• Responsible for meeting productivity requirements
• Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse

• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
• Must have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
