Job summary

Heid Music Company Inc is looking for a skilled Store Luthier to perform repairs and setups on orchestral string instruments. In this role, you will work directly with customers, ensuring high-quality service and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in instrument repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of orchestral string instrument repair and setup experience.
• Completion of an accredited instrument repair program is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, maintenance, and repair work on orchestral string instruments.
• Document all work and customer contact using our software.
• Provide accurate and timely repair estimates and appraisals to customers.
• Support ongoing partnerships with area schools and music directors.
• Replenish repair parts and supplies as needed.
