Job summary

Central City Opera seeks a highly organized Orchestra Manager / Orchestra Librarian to oversee personnel administration, operations, and library functions of the Central City Opera Orchestra. Reporting to the Head of Music, you will ensure services are organized, materials prepared on time, and contractual obligations are followed.

The role blends musical knowledge with meticulous records, coordinates auditions, payroll, and budget input, and collaborates with conductors, staff, and AFM;

Qualifications

• Experience in orchestra personnel management or orchestral operations.
• Familiarity with AFM agreements preferred.
• Strong reading skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel administration, operations, and music-library functions for the orchestra.
• Coordinate rehearsals, auditions, payroll, and contracts with Head of Music and administration.
• Maintain accurate rosters, records, and library materials; ensure timely material preparation.
