Job summary

THOR Solutions is seeking an experienced ORCA Team Lead and SME to support CNSP/ RATT in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on coordinating ORCA inspections, Sailor training, and material readiness assessments for Navy ships.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Navy maintenance and training exposure, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex inspections and data reviews. Travel up to 35% is expected; clearance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of supervisory experience in analyses, information system operations, and technical projects relevant to RATT.
• Maintenance/training staff experience (ISIC, TYCOM, ATG)
• In-depth knowledge of Navy ship depot level maintenance processes
• In-depth knowledge of surface ship maintenance processes
• Undergraduate or associate degree; or 7 years of demonstrated management experience in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and conduct ship ORCA and training visits to assess organic repair capability and Sailor proficiency.
• Lead a team of SMEs to solicit fleet feedback and document workshop system configurations from user perspectives.
• Perform RCA on Industrial Plant Equipment expanding inspections beyond equipment failure.
• Audit shipboard Industrial Plant Equipment against configuration data records and assist with CKs.
• Identify Navy training prerequisites related to shipboard equipment and highlight training gaps.
