Job summary

Baxter is seeking an Orbiter Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot orbiter equipment used in the production of medical cuffs. You will work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with GMP and FDA standards.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, rapid repairs, and continuous improvement, with a schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 11:20 PM – 7:50 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing production.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate orbiter machines according to procedures and requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for optimal operation.
• Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and parts replacement.
• Develop and support preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and performance issues.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
