Orbital Welder – 1st Shift

Job Description

Location: Round Rock, TX

Pay: $23–$28/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–5:00 PM

Overtime: Saturdays as needed

Orbital Welding Opportunity – Precision Manufacturing

A growing precision manufacturing company in Round Rock, TX is hiring Orbital Welders to join its 1st-shift production team.

We’re looking for welders with experience working with stainless steel tubing, precision welds, TIG/GTAW, or orbital welding equipment. Candidates with strong TIG or tube welding experience who are ready to expand their orbital welding skills are also encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Perform orbital welding on stainless steel tubing, fittings, valves, and components
• Complete precision square-butt and full-penetration welds
• Work with small-diameter tubing, including sizes approximately 1/4"–1/2"
• Set up and calibrate orbital welding power supplies and welding programs
• Work with argon and hydrogen/argon purge processes
• Monitor internal purge requirements for high-quality welds
• Fabricate components to tight dimensional and angular tolerances
• Perform accurate fitting, alignment, and weld preparation
• Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on welding equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Perform additional fabrication and production duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Orbital welding experience strongly
• TIG/GTAW, tube welding, pipe welding, or precision fabrication experience considered
• Experience welding stainless steel tubing and components
• Understanding of shielding and purge gases
• Ability to work within tight dimensional tolerances
• Comfortable setting up or learning to set up orbital welding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Dependable and comfortable performing detailed, repetitive work
