Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a skilled technician for aerospace tube fabrication and assembly. You will fabricate, install, and inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, and propellant tubing, working with engineers on designs and development tests.

The role requires welding, tooling collaboration, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Applicants should read aerospace drawings, handle precision tools, and maintain a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Able to use standard mechanical tools and fabrication shop equipment.
• Able to read aerospace 2D/3D drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Experience with aerospace materials and welding processes.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. (citizen, permanent resident, or eligible status).
• Physically able to climb ladders, work in restricted spaces, and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install hydraulic, pneumatic and propellant tubing.
• Collaborate with engineers to review designs and support tests.
• Follow work instructions for assembly tasks and plan assembly steps.
• Safely handle hazardous systems and high-pressure components.
• Perform TIG welding and assist tooling design for fixtures.
• Inspect welds using borescopes and other inspection methods.
• Set up, operate and maintain orbital tube welding equipment.
• Cut and prepare tubing and fittings for welding.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
