Job summary

Elevated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Aurora, CO is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the surgeon and clinical team during consultations, surgery, and recovery. If you are compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we’d love to hear from you.

You will assist the surgeon during procedures, prepare patients for surgery, monitor vital signs, and ensure sterile instruments and accurate records to deliver outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

  • Dental assisting experience preferred.
  • Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery experience preferred but not required.
  • CPR certification required; Hepatitis B vaccination/titer required; TB screening required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the surgeon during consultations and surgical procedures
  • Prepare patients for surgery and provide pre- and post-operative care
  • Monitor patients and record vital signs
  • Take diagnostic radiographs and follow radiation safety protocols
  • Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Coordinate medical clearances and help patients understand treatment instructions
  • Deliver outstanding patient service and help patients feel comfortable and supported
  • Collaborate with teammates to maintain a positive and efficient clinical environment
