Job summary

US Oral Surgery Management (USOSM) is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and monitor vitals. You will provide pre- and post-operative instructions, ensure patient safety, and contribute to efficient office operations in a surgical setting.

The role emphasizes adherence to OSHA guidelines, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining equipment. A CPR certification is required and dental assisting certification is preferred, with vaccinations as

Qualifications

Must hold Basic CPR certification and be willing to obtain additional certifications.
Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant certification preferred.
Hepatitis B and TB vaccinations or titers required.
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow OSHA guidelines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the doctor during surgeries and seat patients.
Provide clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.
Maintain and follow radiation protection and produce radiographic images with proper exposure.
Document and maintain accurate records and charting per standards.
Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments for procedures.
Maintain rapport with patients, doctors and team members; resolve conflicts constructively.
