Job summary

Sammamish Smiles Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist during procedures, and ensure radiographs and documentation are completed promptly.

Responsibilities include sterilization, maintaining a clean operatory, coordinating with the front desk, and contributing to a positive team environment. A valid state license/certification and travel flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-mandated training courses for certification/licensure.
• Specialty dental assistants must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance; travel to multiple offices may be required.
• Preferred: one-year certificate from accredited college or technical school.
• Ability to operate basic dental software and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE).
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory according to guidelines.
• Maintain clean, sterile, and cheerful environment for patients and staff.
• Communicate with front/back office to ensure smooth scheduling.
