Oral Surgery Partners is seeking a Surgical Assistant to support oral surgeons during procedures and keep the workflow smooth in a fast-paced dental setting. You will help prepare instruments, monitor patient vital signs, and provide postoperative education, all while maintaining a safe and friendly environment for patients and staff.

The role emphasizes clear communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols, with hours Monday through Friday and no evenings or weekends.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Previous clinical experience, prefer oral surgery or dental assistant; training provided.
• Basic life support certification required; employer will train if not current.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care and service.
• Communicate with all patients (both in-person and by phone) in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain positive, pleasant, and professional relationships between patients, staff members, and surgeons.
• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures and prepare instruments, materials, and equipment needed for various surgical procedures.
• Support efforts that provide a clean and professional environment for all patients, including, but not limited to, ensuring that operatories are clean, supplies are adequate, equipment is maintained, and compliance with all company policies is maintained.
• Monitor patient’s vital signs during surgical procedures and provide support as needed.
• Assist with postoperative care, including patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Document patient encounters and surgical procedures accurately.
• Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, efficient workflow, and exceptional patient care.
• Attend and participate in regular team meetings.
• Adhere to best practices, established protocols, and highest patient safety standards.
