Chandler Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery seeks an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant for a fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring patients feel at ease throughout treatment. You will assist during procedures, prepare instruments, and monitor patient flow.

The ideal candidate has oral surgery assisting experience, CPR/BLS, X-ray CBCT certification, and strong communication and patient-care skills. A private, one-surgeon office offers a collaborative team and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Oral Surgery assisting experience (in an oral surgery setting).
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• X-ray Certification.
• Experience with CBCT imaging.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist surgeon during oral surgery procedures
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and operatories
• Monitor and support patient flow throughout the day
• Take diagnostic radiographs and CBCT scans
• Assist with IV sedation setup, preparation, & placement
• Assist with patient eval/prep, anesthetic drugs, monitoring vital signs, & recognizing/managing medical emergencies
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
