Job summary

Catalano Oral Surgery & Implantology is seeking a full-time oral surgery assistant with experience to support our surgical team in Lone Tree, Colorado. The role involves assisting during extractions, implants, and grafting, as well as instrument preparation, sterilization, and post-operative care.

The ideal candidate will have CPR/BLS certification, experience with IV sedation monitoring, and proficiency with dental X-rays and practice management software.

Qualifications

• Prior dental assisting experience required; oral surgery preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable on hire.
• Experience with IV sedation monitoring and surgical protocols preferred.
• Proficiency with dental X-rays and dental software.
• Strong chairside manner with compassionate patient care.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeon during extractions, implants, and grafting.

Oral Surgery Office seeking a full time oral surgery assistant with experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist oral surgeon during a variety of procedures including tooth extractions, dental implants, and bone grafting
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory
• Monitor and assist with patient sedation and post-operative care
• Take and process dental X-rays and CBCT scans as needed
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative instructions and answer procedural questions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in practice management software
• Collaborate with front office staff to ensure seamless patient flow and scheduling

Requirements:

• Prior dental assisting experience required; oral surgery or surgical assisting experience strongly preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
• Experience with IV sedation monitoring and surgical protocols preferred
• Proficiency with dental X-rays and dental software
• Strong chairside manner with a calm, compassionate approach to patient care
