Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a skilled Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to support our oral and maxillofacial surgery team in a fast-paced clinic. The role requires hands-on experience with surgical procedures, strict infection control, and high standards of patient care.

The position runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with duties including assisting surgeons, preparing operatories, radiography, and patient recovery in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current nitrous oxide certification
• Current IV certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Meets state credentialing requirements
• Knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Proficiency in dental radiography and digital imaging

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures including extractions, implants, and bone grafts.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
• Support nitrous oxide administration and IV sedation within scope.
• Monitor vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Prepare patients, position them, and assist post‑op recovery.
• Take panoramic and CBCT radiographs as authorized.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
