Job summary

Western Dental & Orthodontics is seeking experienced Oral Surgeon Assistants to support the Oral Surgeon with patient care, X-ray procedures, and infection control, ensuring a comfortable and exceptional patient experience.

You will work in accordance with the state Dental Practice Act and participate in training programs, with local travel to support multiple locations. Travel reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Certified in the state as an RDA.
• Current X-Ray License required.
• CPR and ACLS certificates required; OMSA or DAANCE preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/ English).
• Traveling required; open availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Oral Surgeon at the chair during treatments.
• Anticipate dentist's needs and prepare for next steps.
• Follow OSHA, Dental Board, and Western Dental policies.
• Maintain accurate patient treatment records.
• Able to take Blood Pressure readings.
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions as directed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Support supply management and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate with Floor Supervisor about supplies and repairs.
• Perform duties of a Sterilizer when needed.
• Build rapport with patients and staff.
