Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant to support patient care across multiple nearby offices. You will travel to offices to assist during treatment, take dental X‑rays, set up and break down the operatory, and maintain strict infection control while educating patients on oral hygiene.

The role requires an active license and x-ray certification, plus a high school diploma or equivalent; strong communication and a commitment to ongoing learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental X-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
