Job summary

Western Dental is seeking an experienced Oral Surgeon Assistant to support the Oral Surgeon at the chair, performing chairside assistance, x-ray duties, and patient-care tasks while upholding health and safety standards.

You will administer pre- and post-operative instructions, help maintain accurate records, and ensure a comfortable patient experience. Travel and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• RDA certification CA/AZ/NV required.
• Current X-Ray License must be held.
• CPR and ACLS certification required; OMSA or DAANCE preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Traveling required.
• Open availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist Oral Surgeon at the chair during patient treatment.
• Take dental x-rays as directed by the Oral Surgeon.
• Maintain patient treatment records and infection control procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by the Oral Surgeon.
• Stock supplies in operatory, restrooms, lab, and other areas; inform supervisor when reorders are needed.
• Follow OSHA, Dental Board, and Western policies and procedures.
• Build good rapport with patients and staff.
