Job summary
Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks an intermittent Oral Surgeon to join its Juneau team. The new three-story clinic will offer pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and general dentistry, with two dental assistants planned. The role includes general and implant surgeries, with modern equipment and support staff.
New graduates are welcome. Alaska license or US state license required, BLS/ACLS/PALS; compensation includes a guaranteed hourly rate of $350 and
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited university.
- Active license in the State of Alaska or another US state.
- Board-certified OMFS.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
- New graduates welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Administer general and local anesthetics and manage pain control.
- Collaborate with residents and other dental professionals on treatment plans.
- Evaluate wisdom teeth positioning and future risks.
- Perform surgery to prepare the mouth for implants and tissue regeneration.
- Remove impacted or non-restorable teeth and treat oral infections.
