Job summary

The U.S. Navy is seeking an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for Active-Duty Dental Corps Officer roles, nationwide and in-person.

You will lead surgical teams, mentor dental personnel, and contribute to research while ensuring service member readiness and high-quality patient care.

Total annual compensation ranges from $337,883 to $389,461, with a $700,000 sign-on bonus, extensive incentive pay, comprehensive benefits, housing options, and Education benefits.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program.
• Completed CODA-accredited Oral Surgery residency in the U.S. (or final year).
• Board certified in Oral Surgery (or in final year).
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Between 21 and 64 years old.

Responsibilities:

Perform complex surgical procedures to treat diseases, injuries, and defects of the mouth, jaw, and facial structures. You’ll lead surgical teams, mentor dental personnel, and contribute to research aimed at advancing oral surgery practices, while ensuring the oral health and operational readiness of service members.

Eligibility Requirements:

• DDS or DMD from a CODA accredited program
• Completed a CODA accredited Oral Surgery residency in the U.S. (or in the final year of residency)
• Board certified in Oral Surgery (or in the final year of residency)
