Job summary

The position emphasizes archival research, patron support, and collaboration with faculty and leadership to advance public history projects and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience.
• Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures and ability to apply them.
• Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and statistics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and organize work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and leads the administrative staff in day-to-day COPH operations.
• Plans and executes COPH events and fundraisers, including commencements.
• Manages the budget and financial records, processes invoices and payments.
• Maintains COPH website and social media; coordinates publications and podcasts.
• Assists with hiring student assistants and reviewing timesheets.
• Provides archival and research assistance and patron support.
