Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem is seeking a part-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA). The role includes training OMFS residents in clinic, operating room, and emergency room, delivering lectures, supervising cases, and participating in quality assurance and scholarly activities. Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $251,250* (board eligible); $258,750* (board certified) based on 30-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $361,895** (board eligible) and $370,145** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $30,000(based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
