Job summary

Grant Thornton (US) seeks an Oracle Manager to lead advisory and implementation services across its Oracle Practice. You will work with the Transformation team to help clients reach their vision while delivering high-quality solutions.

From day one, you’ll be empowered to manage full life cycle implementations, document requirements, configure Oracle applications, and train end users. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Information Technology, MIS, or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.
• Minimum of 4 full life cycle implementations of Oracle.
• Industry recognized professional certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics, and reports.
• Experience with application integration & back-end data connectivity applications.
• Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications.
• Exposure or training on Oracle Cloud Applications; Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Proven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects.
• Strong leadership skills; able to conduct meetings and write technically oriented documents.
• Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives.
• Can travel as needed. Expected travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases.
• Document business requirements, system design and transformational goals.
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
• Create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption.
• Conduct training classes to prepare end users for deployment.
• Provide post-production support.
• Participate in full life cycle implementations.
• Identify business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and support procedures.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Other duties as assigned.
