Qualifications

Job description

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiatives across the United States. We are currently seeking an Oracle Training Specialist to join our team.

Summary:
  1. Client Agency: Defense Logistics Agency.
  2. Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance (Basic Federal Clearance requirements include U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies).
  3. Conducts user maintenance tasks including creation, deletion, and modification of users and user-defined lists.
  4. Troubleshoots advanced functional, technical, and integration issues with DAI.
  5. Diagnoses and responds to user connectivity issues such as browser incompatibility, network issues, JRE, and Oracle UPK client setup.
  6. Completes configuration management tasks and recommends improvements to ITIL processes.
  7. Provides FAQ solutions and support for DAI PMO Help Desk SOP, including ITIL recommendations.
  8. Documents Customer Help Desk SOP and DAI Client Support Instructions related to Oracle DBA event/incident resolution.
  9. Supports DAI production help desk tickets, ensuring mitigation and closure within 24 hours.
  10. Develops and delivers FAQ Solution Documents, DAI PMO Helpdesk SOP, and Customer Help Desk SOP.
  11. Provides functional, technical, architectural, and compliance support for each DAI capability area, including Oracle Applications modules and reporting.
  12. Supports user-based training events, creates training material, user guides, FAQs, and Knowledge Based articles.
  13. Conducts training events through various delivery methods to ensure effective end-user training.
  14. Prepares and delivers CBT materials for end-user training.
  15. Sets up and maintains environments for training, testing, and process mocks.
  16. Creates and maintains online system help utilizing Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) tool.
  17. Ensures DAI Help Desk support contractor staff are fully trained on processes and standards related to DAI Help Desk support.
Requirements:
  1. Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance (U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
  2. Must have 7+ years experience supporting Oracle EBS workforce training.
  3. Deep experience with functional, technical, architectural, and compliance understanding of DAI capability areas including reporting.
  4. Experience with Oracle Applications modules supporting DAI capability areas.
  5. Expertise in Oracle Applications-based technical development and deployment.
  6. Experience in maintenance and enhancement of technical components for current and future releases of the Global Model.
  7. Experience in developing Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP).
  8. Experience in training material creation, user guides, FAQs, and Knowledge Based articles.
  9. Experience in conducting training events and preparing CBT materials.
  10. Experience in setting up and maintaining environments for training, testing, and process mocks.
  11. Experience with Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) tool.
  12. Experience supporting DAI Help Desk and executing the Program's use of ConfigSnapshot.
  13. Experience supporting DoD or Federal Oracle shared service providers on an Oracle EBS R12.2 platform or higher.
