Senior Training Specialist, Affera - Remote

Senior Training Specialist, Affera - Remote

Location: State of Minnesota, United States of America (Remote)

Responsibilities
  1. Plan, develop, deliver, and coordinate in-house product training programs for support personnel and customers.
  2. Gather information, prepare training materials, develop course content, and determine methodologies.
  3. Ensure training programs meet company and customer objectives.
  4. Maintain communication with customers to evaluate training effectiveness.
  5. Utilize trainers with technical expertise as needed.
  6. Revise lesson plans regularly to meet new requirements and update technical information.
  7. Participate in curriculum assessment and development using adult instructional design models.
  8. Design and implement education plans for new product launches and indications, focusing on functional results.
  9. Create engaging training programs to enhance electrophysiology knowledge and skills in cardiac ablation therapies.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop curricula, course materials, and compliance standards.
  11. Evaluate program effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
  12. Work with Physician Education team to develop processes and standards for efficiency.
  13. Adjust quickly to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
  14. Travel up to 50% as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma + 8 years relevant experience or
  • Associate’s Degree + 6 years relevant experience or
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 4 years relevant experience
  • 1 year of EP mapping experience
Nice to Have
  • Advanced Electrophysiology certification (RCIS or IBHRE preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Smart Sheets, Articulate & Rise, Adobe, Camtasia, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
  • Instructional design and presentation skills
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to foster relationships and develop impactful training
  • Knowledge of medical device training curricula and assessment of competencies

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $96,800 - $145,200 (USD). Eligible for incentives and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Specific benefits vary for employees in different locations.
