Job summary

M&S Consulting in Pasadena, CA is seeking a seasoned Oracle EBS functional professional to lead and document business requirements, configure ODM/Inventory processes, and collaborate across Finance and Operations. The role emphasizes end-to-end ODM lifecycle knowledge and cross-functional integration expertise.

You will map current and future processes, present actionable options to stakeholders, and support testing and training activities to ensure successful system implementations on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of functional Oracle R12.2.x eBS experience.
• Two+ full cycle Common Inventory implementations in ODM/MRP with Oracle EBS.
• Deep inventory data structures knowledge and controls.
• Experience with multi-org inventory models and costing impact.
• End-to-end ODM lifecycle experience including Inventory, BOM, MRP, MPS, Purchasing, Costing.
• Strong cross-functional integration knowledge across Inventory, Purchasing, Payables, Project Accounting.
• Strong analytical and business analysis skills; ability to map processes and gather requirements.
• Ability to present functional options and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to interact with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with ESA leads and business stakeholders to review, refine, and document business requirements
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and deliver clear, actionable solution options
• Map and document current-state and future-state business processes
• Recommend Oracle eBS configuration updates that best support future operational needs
• Support functional design development and ensure alignment with approved requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and system changes
• Support functional testing and user training activities
• Document functional designs, workflows, and any approved enhancements or process adjustments
• Assist in resolving functional issues and guiding stakeholders through incident closure
• Provide bi-weekly functional status reporting

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of functional Oracle R12.2.x eBS experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering two or more full cycle Common Inventory implementations as part of broader ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle EBS R12.13.x
• Deep knowledge of inventory data structures and controls, including item master integrity, sub inventories, locators, UOM Conversions, lot/serial control, and on-hand balance accuracy
• Experience with project-based and multi-org inventory models, including common vs project-specific inventory and impacts on costing, planning, and financial reporting
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end ODM lifecycle, including Inventory, BOM, MRP, MPS, Purchasing, and Costing
• Solid understanding of integration points across Inventory, Purchasing, Payables, and Project Accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong business analysis skills, including process mapping, requirements gathering, and
• documentation
• Ability to present functional options and recommendations to business stakeholders
• Ability to interact effectively with project team members and stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Office

Desired Skills:

• Experience with basic SQL queries
• Experience with Manufacturing Project Accounting and Project Accounting modules
• Knowledge of Purchasing ASL processes and configuration

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
