Job summary

Capgemini in Jersey City seeks an experienced Oracle data engineer to design and implement procedures, triggers, and views using Oracle 11g/12c. You will develop Python ETL pipelines, Unix batch processing, and real-time streams, ensuring data quality and performance.

Responsibilities include QA, loading large datasets, transforming data, and performance tuning of SQL/PLSQL objects. End-to-end flow from UI to DB is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle database development and tuning.
• Strong PL/SQL programming and SQL optimization skills.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and Python for ETL tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and views.
• Develop ETL processing with Python and batch Unix jobs.
• Load and cleanse large data sets from multiple vendors and perform QA.
• Tune performance of SQL/PLSQL objects and automate batch processing.
