Job summary

Compunnel Inc. is seeking a JD Edwards specialist to support the technical and integration aspects of JD Edwards implementations. You will validate lifecycle tests, troubleshoot issues, perform unit testing, and recommend system improvements.

The role requires experience with JDE architecture, BI Publisher, and external system integration, with coordination across multiple vendors and time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) and its technical areas (FDA, RDA, NER, BSFN).
• Knowledge of master business functions and power forms.
• Experience in system architecture, interfacing, and interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Validate testing completed in the implementation lifecycle of JD Edwards.
• Troubleshoot development issues and propose solutions.
• Perform unit tests to verify application functionality against requirements/design.
• Provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Analyze risk mitigation during system improvements.
• Analyze and fix issues in JD Edwards Standard Programs (NERs, CBFNs).
• Train customer JDEdwards technical teams on technical aspects.
• Work with BI Publisher for reporting needs.
• Integrate JD Edwards with external systems using services/orchestrator.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across time zones in a multi-vendor environment.

Job description

• Have strong JD Edwards (JDE) Background and good understanding of the JDE Technical area FDA, RDA, NER, BSFN.
• Knowledge of working of master business functions. working experience on power forms.
• Experience of system architecture development, partitioning of functionality among applications and components and application interfaces, interoperability concerns.
• Experience of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development.
• Awareness of systems management and operational support tools Security and or infrastructure experience would also be a significant advantage.
• Candidate would be responsible for validation of testing completed in implementation life cycle of JD Edwards.
• Troubleshoot development issues and recommend solutions.
• Perform unit tests to verify the application functionality against the requirements/design specification.
• Provide recommendations for system improvements whenever required.
• Must be able to analyze risk mitigation during the systems improvements.
• Issue analysis and bug fixing, debugging and trouble- shooting the Standard Programs in JDE which involves (NERs, C BFNs etc.)
• Train customer internal JDEdwards technical team on technical aspects.
• Working experience on BI Publisher.
• Good Understanding of Integrating JD Edwards with external systems using Business Services/Orchestrator.
• Experience in JDE advance warehousing and TMS modules is preferable.
• Should be able to work in a multi vendor environment and coordinate with stakeholders across different time zones
