Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking an Architecture Consultant 2 in the Oracle integration practice, based in the United States. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure architectures using Oracle Cloud PaaS and OIC, with emphasis on integration patterns and deployment strategies.

You will engage with customers, analyze requirements, and drive architectural decisions, while ensuring knowledge transfer and quality across projects. Willingness to relocate/travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for education.
• Experience in Oracle integration technologies, with hands-on experience in OIC.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud PaaS - Integration and Application Development.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations.
• Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, Mediator, OSB, and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation.
• Identify suitable technologies and tools, perform market analysis to identify optimal architectural solution options.
• Develop integration strategies based on proof-of-concept validation of proposed solutions.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure adherence to quality standards during build and deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues across build, deployment and support phases.

In the assigned Job Role of Architecture Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation
• Identify suitable technologies and tools available in the market, and perform a comparative analysis in line with client's business requirement, thereby identifying optimal architectural solution options
• Participate in developing integration strategies based on validation of proof of concept of proposed architectural solutions
• Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to the build and deployment automation strategy
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and roll out methods, during build, deployment and support phases
• Analyze system performance basis architectural solutions implemented and support in identifying potential risks in the system landscape
• Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in Oracle integration technologies, with hands-on experience in OIC.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud PaaS - Integration and Application Development.
• Experience in Oracle Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) tools like Visual Builder (VBCS) & ATP Database.
• Ability to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for building, packaging, and deploying application extensions across development, test, and production environments.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations.
• Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, Mediator, OSB, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT/XQuery.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion APIs, business events, FBDI, HDL/HSDL, and scheduled/event-driven integrations.
• Understanding of OIC connections, integrations, lookups, mappings, scopes, fault handling, tracking, and monitoring.
• Experience with authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, certificates, and SSL/TLS.
• Experience designing integrations with third-party applications and databases.
• Experience with DevOps practices - Git, Jenkins, Maven, Terraform, or Oracle DevOps.
• Understanding of integration architecture, API management, security, and cloud architecture.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
