Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Senior Oracle HCM Help Desk Functional Consultant with SC Clearance for hybrid work in the UK. You will drive Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, lead requirements analysis and design, and partner with clients to deliver tailored HR solutions.

You will coordinate with technical teams, support integrations, and contribute to proposals. The role requires strong communication, travel to client sites, and a track record in Oracle Cloud implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud implementations across full lifecycle.
• Strong skills in Requirements Analysis, Functional Design, Configuration Documentation and Troubleshooting.
• Experience coordinating with interface design, development and testing teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management abilities.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud modules such as HR, Payroll, RBAC, Digital Assistant and Knowledge Management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle as part of a project team.
• Lead requirements analysis, business process documentation and solution design for Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Configure, deploy and support Oracle HCM solutions across client environments.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant working as an integral part of a project team, you will contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will play a customer-facing role and be involved in Requirement Analysis, Business Process Documentation & Solution Design. You will work with and support your peers to develop, configure and deploy the solution, and ensure project processes and deliverables in your area are met. In addition to project related activities, you will also contribute to proposal development, demonstrating the application to potential customers and play an important role in building our Oracle Cloud capabilities and offerings.

As an experienced consultant you will be a self-starter and have strong functional skills in the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud, backed up by proven hands‑on experience, ideally across different industries. You will have the ability to work under pressure and must be able to communicate effectively with customer stakeholders.

• At least 5 Years of functional experience delivering OracleHCM CloudApplications.
• Evidence of full Oracle Cloud Implementations cycles
• Demonstrated experience in Solution Design, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design Configuration Documentation, Troubleshooting and Integration Architecture
• Experience working with technical teams for Interface design, development and testing
• Ability to multi-task and to work independently
• Strong client facing, communication and client management skills
• A good understanding of Application Implementation methodologies
• Ability to travel to client sites

• Some experience in pre‑sales activities such as contributing to proposals, conducting Proof of Concepts & Configuring Sand‑box environments for functional demonstrations.
