Job summary

IBM Consulting is recruiting an Oracle HCM Consultant to deliver Oracle HCM Cloud implementations across diverse industries. You will participate in all lifecycle phases, from requirements analysis to configuration, design and testing, supporting proposals and client demonstrations.

The role requires strong functional expertise, proven implementation experience and the ability to work autonomously in a hybrid work environment at client sites.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of functional experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud Applications.
Evidence of full Oracle Cloud implementation cycles.
Experience in Solution Design, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design, Configuration Documentation and Troubleshooting.
Experience with Interface design, development and testing with technical teams.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Strong client-facing, communication and client management skills.
Understanding of Application Implementation methodologies.

Responsibilities

Contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle, including requirement analysis, process documentation, and solution design.
Work with peers to develop, configure and deploy Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
Support proposal development and demonstrate Oracle Cloud capabilities to clients.
Travel to client sites as required.
Deliver outcomes across multiple industries within IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Consultant working as an integral part of a project team, you will contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will play a customer-facing role and be involved in Requirement Analysis, Business Process Documentation & Solution Design. You will work with and support your peers to develop, configure and deploy the solution, and ensure project processes and deliverables in your area are met. In addition to project-related activities, you will also contribute to proposal development, demonstrating the application to potential customers and play an important role in building our Oracle Cloud capabilities and offerings.

As an experienced consultant, you will be a self-starter and have strong functional skills in the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud, backed up by proven hands-on experience, ideally across different industries. You will have the ability to work under pressure and must be able to communicate effectively with customer stakeholders.

Integration tools:
HCM Extracts
Leading project implementations
Knowledge and some experience working with AI Agent Studio
Experience in Oracle Cloud Implementations and integrating them with other on premise or cloud applications.
A good understanding of the broader Oracle Cloud functional areas e.g. Finance, HCM and Payroll, SCM, CX, Logistics.
Good knowledge of the reporting and analytical tools available as part of Oracle Cloud.
Some experience in pre-sales activities such as contributing to proposals, conducting Proof of Concepts & Configuring Sand-box environments for functional demonstrations.
